The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director of student programs and social entrepreneurship for The Center for Social Value Creation (CSVC). The center brings together staff, faculty and students to find solutions that address global social and environmental challenges through business principles. The center supports research, curriculum and applied learning by immersing our students in complex and evolving marketplaces where critical thinking, leadership, and entrepreneurship are at the core of the experience.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for the execution of consulting-based experiential learning programs as well as the development, management and expansion of social entrepreneurship programming. The Assistant Director will also work with the Executive Director to administer the center, develop and maintain strategic partnerships and contribute to the overall strategy and continued growth of the organization. Finally, participation in regional social entrepreneurship and responsible business networks is required.

REAL Change Program at the RESULTS International Conference
Want to make a REAL Change? APPLY Now for the REAL Change Scholarship!
Passionate young voices are needed to end poverty around the world and here in the U.S. This summer, the RESULTS International Conference offers a chance for 18 to 27 year-olds to build their advocacy skills and put them into practice on Capitol Hill and in their communities.
RESULTS Educational Fund is pleased to offer REF’s Emerging Activist Leaders(REAL) Change Scholarship for all but a small part of the cost of conference registration, travel to DC, and lodging at the beautiful Double Tree Hilton for 18-27 year olds to participate in the exciting RESULTS International Conference (IC). This program also provides two additional days of advocacy training on organizing others to engage in three of REF’s major global poverty campaigns, TB-HIV, Child Survival and Education for All. At this training you will gain knowledge and skills to speak powerfully, work with and educate decision makers and the media, and organize others who care about ending poverty. This transformative conference will be held July 20-24 at the Doubletree Hotel in Crystal City, overlooking Washington D.C.
